ACL 120

ACL 120 by Perkin The Perkin ACL 120 is designed to automatically label and cut composite can bodies and cardboard tubes. 4 mandrels are used to, in turn, load the tube, label it, cut it and eject the cut pieces. A tube hopper delivers a tube on to a mandrel which then indexes to the label station. Meanwhile an automatic sheet feed takes an individual label from the label stavk and feeds over glue rollers and via a vacuum belt to the waiting mandrel. The mandrel indexes to the cutting station and finally to the ejection station where the cut pieces are promoved by conveyor and the waste rings removed.

Labeller/Cutter

The ACL 120 has an infinitely variable speed drive with a torque limitation to avoid damage in the event of jamming. Controls are grouped together for convenience. A large storage hopper is provided for the tubes and this can be fed directly from the tube winder. Glue is fed to the precision applicator rollers via apump and re-cycled to the storage tank ensuring optimum quality. The sheet feed is automatic with the ability to replenish without stopping. Mandrels are hardened and the cutting knives are spring loaded on individual holders. Washing down is quick and easy.
